A centuries-old practice, made gentle enough for your bathroom shelf.

I have been using my facial cups 2-3 times per week since I noticed a huge change to my own skin texture following menopause and even more so following a hysterectomy in January 2026. I combine the use of the cups with our own range of facial oils and I have noticed a really positive change in how my skin looks and feels. I knew I had to introduce them to my customers as part of our self care range of products.

In Chinese medicine, cupping has long been used to move what has become stuck and bring warmth and circulation back to tired tissue. Facial cupping is its softest form. Instead of holding the skin, you lift and glide, encouraging fluid to move on so the face looks less puffy, more sculpted and quietly radiant.

This set contains four soft cups in medical-grade silicone. The two face cups follow the neck, jawline, cheeks and forehead. The two slender eye cups reach the delicate areas: beneath the eyes, the fine lines between the brows, and around the lips. Because you have a pair of each, you can hold one in each hand and work both sides of the face at once. Every set comes with a four-page illustrated guide that takes you through a calm ten-to-fifteen-minute ritual, step by step.

Use it two or three times a week, ideally in the evening. Treat it as much as a pause for yourself as a treatment for your skin.

What's in the set

  • 2 face cups (approx.  8 cm tall, 3.7 cm rim)
  • 2 eye cups (approx. 5 cm tall, 1.5 cm rim)
  • Illustrated ritual guide
  • Linen Keep Bag

How to use
Cleanse and pat your skin dry, then apply a generous layer of our luxury facial oil so the cups glide without dragging. Always start and finish at the neck, and always move outward and downward towards the lymph nodes along the jaw, ears and collarbones. Squeeze the cup, place it, then either lift it straight off (a "flash") or slide it slowly along the skin (a "glide"). The skin should lift by only a few millimetres. Full instructions are in the guide.

Keeping your cups clean

  • After every use, wash the cups in warm water with a mild, fragrance-free soap. Squeeze them under the water to flush out any oil.
  • Leave them to dry upside down on a clean towel.
  • Once a week, wipe them inside and out with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
  • Skip the dishwasher and harsh cleaners. Gentle washing keeps the silicone soft and supple for longer.
  • Store the cups dry, away from sunlight.
  • The cups are personal to you, so please don't share them.

Using them safely

  • Patch test on your inner forearm first.
  • Keep the suction light and the cups moving. Never leave a cup sitting on your face.
  • Always work on oiled skin.
  • Keep to the sides of the neck and avoid the front of the throat. NEVER use the cups on the jugular or carotid artery area.
  • Never place a cup on the eyelid. Focus on the brow bone area and under eye.
  • A soft pink flush is normal and fades within the hour. Marks mean the suction was too strong.

Please don't use if your skin is broken, sunburnt, inflamed or has active breakouts, cold sores or a rash, or if you have rosacea, broken capillaries, moles or skin cancer. Wait at least two weeks after fillers or anti-wrinkle injections. Wait until you're fully healed after peels, micro-needling, laser treatment or surgery. If you take blood-thinning medication, bruise easily, are pregnant, or have a skin, circulatory or thyroid condition, please check with your GP first. Not suitable for children.

After your ritual
For the rest of the day, avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot showers and hot yoga. Leave retinol, exfoliating acids and strong vitamin C until the next morning. Skip scrubs, masks, waxing and shaving on the area for 24 hours. Go makeup-free for an hour or two if you can, and wear SPF. In Chinese medicine, freshly worked skin is considered open, so keep your face and neck out of cold wind and let the calm settle in.

Facial cupping is a cosmetic self-care practice and not a substitute for medical advice.
